On Tuesday 13th March, Year 1 had an exciting day at the Caerphilly Mountain View Ranch! On arrival, we were met by the Big Bad Wolf and he took us along the Gruffalo Trail. Throughout the trail we met all of the characters from Julia Donaldson’s story, The Gruffalo.  We have been learning this story in class and so were able to join in as we went through the woods. The  sun shone for us all day and we spent the afternoon building dens, toasting marshmallows around the campfire and we even got to visit the Fairy Forest! What a fantastic way to end our topic of Julia Donaldson!
