Can you believe it? Our incredible journey in primary school has come to an end. As we say goodbye to the familiar halls and classrooms, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the wonderful memories we’ve created over the years.
This term’s theme, “When I Grow Up,” sparked our imaginations and introduced us to endless possibilities. We brainstormed, discussed, and shared our dreams of becoming doctors, engineers, astronauts, artists, and more. This theme inspired us to dream big and reinforced that with determination and hard work, we can achieve anything we aspire to.
Careers Day turned our hall into a lively hub filled with professionals from various fields. We eagerly absorbed their knowledge, listened to their experiences, and asked numerous questions. The day was an enlightening adventure, providing us with insights into different careers and industries. We learned about the skills and qualifications required for various professions, helping us shape our aspirations with greater clarity. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our visitors for taking the time to come and speak with us.
Sports Day was a thrilling event that brought out the athlete in each of us. We ran, jumped, and cheered with all our might. Whether we were the fastest runners or supporters from the sidelines, we all contributed to the vibrant atmosphere that filled our sports field.
Our grand finale, the End of Year “The Lion King” Concert, was a spectacular showcase of our talents. We danced, sang, and acted, bringing beloved characters to life on stage. The concert highlighted our creativity, teamwork, and dedication. It was our moment to shine, and we did so with enthusiasm and confidence. We are deeply grateful to the parents and staff who helped design and create the amazing costumes. The applause from our families and friends made it a memory we will cherish forever.
Transition Day at our new comprehensive schools filled us with a mix of excitement and nerves. Our primary school experiences have equipped us with the skills and resilience needed to face new challenges. We carry forward the friendships we’ve made and the lessons we’ve learned, approaching this new chapter with open hearts and eager minds.
The Llangrannog residential trip will always hold a special place in our hearts. We ventured into the great outdoors, embracing exciting adventures. From rock climbing to zip lining, we challenged ourselves and discovered strengths we never knew we had. We created lasting memories, strengthened friendships, and developed a greater sense of independence.
Lastly, we want to thank all the parents who attended the graduation ceremony during the final week of the term. The entire St Julian’s Primary community wishes our Year 6 students the very best as they move into Year 7.
Goodbye and pob lwc, Year 6. You will be missed!
