Some staff and children went to Cwmbran Boating Lake for a spring walk. While there, the children bought feed for the ducks and other water birds in the shop; they estimated and measured the distance around the lake and looked out for signs of spring- they found lots of them! The children also noticed that there was a defibrillator stationed there! We were very proud of the children, who were so polite and well-behaved, remembering to say ‘please’ and ‘thankyou’ when they were being served at the shop. It was a lovely day and we all enjoyed learning together in the outdoors.
