This half term we have been learning all about the zoo! We have been researching our favourite zoo animals, designing our own zoos and making beautiful animal habitat boxes.
We have been reading the story ‘Dear Zoo’ this term. Our reading and writing have developed so much! We have been amazing at ordering sentences from the story and even writing them! Our oracy has come along so much too, as we have loved retelling this story.
We of course had to visit the Wild Place Project in Bristol to support all of our learning. We had the best day! We couldn’t believe how tall giraffes actually are and loved watching the meerkats play.
We also loved celebrating World Book Day and St David’s day this half term. It was lovely to hear all about the children’s favourite stories and to see the lovely work they created for the Eisteddfod.
We are so looking forward to continuing our learning journey next term!
