What a busy half term we’ve had in reception! We started the term fully immersed in our Welsh fortnight, getting ourselves prepared for our eisteddfod. We did some brilliant country dancing, painted daffodils and sang beautiful Welsh songs. We also got stuck into making Welsh cakes and loved tasting them too!
This term, our topic has been At the Zoo. We have thoroughly enjoyed learning all about zoo animals. We particularly enjoyed our visit from The Zoo That Comes To You and of course our trip to the Bristol Zoo Project. Seeing the animals we had learned about up close was such an amazing experience.
We can’t forget to mention that we have spent time this term celebrating our mothers, in the lead up to Mother’s Day. We had such lovely discussions about why our mummy’s are so amazing. We hope you enjoyed our special cards and crafts.
Finally, we have also been preparing ourselves for Easter by learning the Easter story and having a special Palm Sunday workshop with the fabulous Rachel.
Have a lovely break all.
