Once upon a time there were three busy reception classes!

This term has been busy settling into new routines and developing our independence. 

Our theme has been ‘Once Upon a Time’. We have listened to lots of stories such as Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and The Three Bears and The Three Little Pigs.

We have developed our storytelling skills using toys and puppets to retell stories.

We really enjoyed visiting our neighbours at Glyn Anwen to show them what we have been learning and we particularly enjoyed making (and tasting) biscuits for them!

In numeracy we have been weighing vegetables, counting autumn objects and writing numbers. We have really liked building houses for The Three Pigs and counting how many blocks we have used. 

We also collected lots of food for the Ravens House Trust, celebrated our Harvest Festival and shared some harvest bread. Thank you for your donations! 

We loved singing our nursery Rhymes for parents to come and see, and we look forward to more performances next term!
