What a fantastic end to the year we have had. We have loved learning about all the bugs and mini-beasts we have found in the garden. We have enjoyed going on bug hunts in the garden, we found so many worms and made a Wormery! We loved learning about bees, caterpillars and worms. We tried runny honey on toast because we learned that bees make honey in their hive. We loved having caterpillars and watching them eat their food, grow really big, turn into chrysalis’ and then into beautiful butterflies! We even got to release the butterflies! They were so calm and we were able to hold them, it was brilliant!
We have also loved learning about Uganda and Kenya when practising for the creative festival! The children were amazing and performed their song so brilliantly in front of all the parents. It made us all so proud!

I am so proud of the children this year and all they have achieved in their time in nursery! Hope you all have a fabulous summer and we’ll see some of you in September, and the rest of you will have the best time in reception! Happy summer holidays everyone!
