We have thoroughly enjoyed our first half of summer term! We have loved our topic ‘Where We Belong!’. We have spent out time learning about ourselves when we were small babies, ourselves now and our family! We have loved reading our stories Kipper’s Birthday, Babies Can and The Great Big Book of Families. The children have also been amazing when preparing for Sports Day and they were brilliant on the day! The races were fantastic and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves, even if it was a bit misty in the morning! We have loved getting outside more and using the garden thanks to the nicer weather. The children are really enjoying sharing snack in the garden! In our outdoor learning sessions, we have loved exploring shadows, making pictures of our families using natural objects and going on a spring time hunt! We are really looking forward to next half term where we have so many fun things planned! Have a lovely half term!
