Well, what a busy half term it has been for us! We welcomed new children at the start of the half term who have settled in so well and are enjoying coming in to see the new friends they have made! We are so proud of the children for settling in so well. We have been learning so much this half term about us growing up! We know how to care for babies and other living things, we know that babies need healthy food, we decided to make our very own baby food! We used mashed potato, carrots, and broccoli, it was delicious! We have also learned about what we would like to be when we grow up! This was a very interesting conversation. We have lots of future doctors, police people and fire people! We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the King’s Coronation with a party and drawing amazing portraits of King Charles. We are really enjoying the warmer weather and spending a lot of time in the garden, the children loved using the blossom from the tree and creating their own potions in the muddy kitchen! As well as all of this, the children have been so lucky to have UpBeat in with us every Wednesday for a Music and Dance session. The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning all of the moves and we are so proud of how much effort they put in to learning the dances and following the instructions! The children have been trying really hard in preparation for sports day! We have been really busy with the races and we can’t wait to show you all how fantastic we are! We hope you have a lovely rest, and we cannot wait for our final half term in nursery together! It is going to be a busy one, full of learning and fun!
