So we set off extra early for Mrs Robinson’s favourite sporting event…the Swimming Festival! Upon arrival, we carefully selected a team name: ‘The Dolphins’. After a quick change, we were all ready at poolside to begin. All events were team relays. With eight events altogether, there was plenty of swimming fun to be had. There were some nail biting finishes; we came 2nd in our heat for front crawl, ball relay and breast stroke/back crawl relay.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the ‘aqua blast’ session at lunch time splashing and dancing in the water. Mrs Robinson made the wise decision to keep well out of splashing range!

To finish, all the children took part in a team medley finale. It was great to see the whole team supporting each other at poolside. A fantastic day had by all! Well done Dolphins!
