Thirty of our Year 5 and 6 children competed, today, in the Newport Schools’ Athletics Tournament held at Newport Sports Village, in Spytty. Mrs Cooke held athletics trials during a lunch time last week, to decide which pupils to take.

There were schools from all over Newport, competing. Although our children were tired, after our Sports Day yesterday, they still performed brilliantly and did us proud!  Well done to all the pupils who took part – particularly Gethin, who came second overall in the Discus competition. Thank you to Mrs Cooke and Mrs Thomas, for taking our children.
