Reception will begin their topic ‘Ar y Fferm’ (On the Farm) after Christmas and what better way to get excited about the term ahead than to visit a farm beforehand! Reception will be visiting Greenmeadow Farm on Tuesday 17th December with coaches leaving school at approximately 9:15am. Upon arrival, the children will have the opportunity to take a tractor and trailer ride, watch a Nativity performed by the farm animals themselves and even visit Father Christmas; who will be waiting in his cosy farm yard grotto! Due to the time of year, we would ask that all children attending the trip wear a warm coat, a hat and preferably wellington boots. Please do not, however, buy wellies especially. We do have a few pairs in school that children can lend. All children must bring a packed lunch to school in a backpack on this day, as we will be eating lunch at the farm. After a fun filled day, the coach will return to school by approximately 2:45pm. We cannot wait to celebrate a fantastic first term and look forward to an exciting new one on this magical Christmas trip!
