We’ve had an amazing Eisteddfod, today. All classes from Y2 to Y6 spent the day in the hall taking part in a variety of competitions, to celebrate St. David’s Day (on Sunday). The four houses, Hafren, Ebbw, Llwyd and Wysg, battled it out throughout the day, but this year, Wysg were the winners, with 567 points. All pupils entered the Handwriting and Story/Poem Writing competitions, with some pupils also choosing to enter the Poetry Recitation, Musical Instrument Performance, Singing and Dance competitions. We’re so proud of all the children who took part and it was wonderful to celebrate living in such a fantastic country, together!
