This evening, we invited parents into school to see some of the online learning tools we use with pupils. Mr Mansfield opened the evening by showing parents some of our Chromebooks and how we use Google Apps to create and collaborate on documents and presentations.

Mr Frost then demonstrated Hwb, a free platform provided to all pupils in Wales. He showed parents how to access Hwb and how to use the Britannica Encyclopedia, Just2Easy tools and Microsoft Office 365, which are all included in the platform.

Miss Shepherd then demonstrated the Bug Club Online Reading site and Mathletics, with the help of some of her pupils who talked about how much they loved using these website.

Mr Mansfield ended the evening by showing parents how pupils can design and build their own computer games using Scratch.
